Understand how Statuscode handles subscription tiers, billing cycles, and automated transitions between plans.
Subscription Tiers
Statuscode is licensed per status page. Choose a tier based on the number of projects you need to manage and the specific features required for your team.

Extra Pages
Pro and Agency subscribers can purchase additional status pages beyond their base limit for $4/mo (monthly) or $3/mo (yearly).
Plan Switches & Logic
Transitions between plans are designed to be fair and transparent. We handle the math automatically so you never pay twice for the same period.
Immediate Upgrades
Moving to a higher tier happens immediately. You are only charged the prorated difference for the remaining days of your current cycle.
Scheduled Downgrades
Downgrades are scheduled for your next billing date. You keep your current high-tier features until the period you already paid for ends.
Changing your mind?
If you schedule a downgrade but change your mind before the billing date, you can Cancel the Switch directly from your billing dashboard to stay on your current plan.

Select your target plan in the Billing Settings.

Review the Proration Preview to see the exact charge for upgrades.

Confirm the switch. Upgrades activate features now; downgrades wait for the next cycle.

Manage any Scheduled Changes from the main billing view.
Subscription Lifecycle
Activation
Access is granted immediately upon successful payment. If a payment is pending, access may be restricted until confirmation.
Cancellations
Toggling 'Auto-renewal' off schedules a cancellation. You maintain full access until the end of your current billing period.
Failed Payments
If a charge fails, we grant a 48-hour grace period. We will attempt to re-charge 3 times before the subscription is marked 'on_hold' and pages are unpublished.
Automated Notifications
Statuscode sends automated alerts for critical events:
Receipts: Sent immediately for every successful transaction.
Plan Changes: Confirmations for upgrades and scheduled downgrades.
Data Risks: Sequential warnings at 25 and 50 days post-expiration.
