Project Settings
Project settings and public URLs
Every project has an internal subdomain identity, and it may also have a branded public custom domain. The dashboard and editor surface whichever public URL is currently valid.
Public URL rules
Without a verified custom domain, the public URL is the Statuscode-hosted subdomain.
Once a custom domain is connected, Statuscode prefers that host in the editor and dashboard UI.
Changing a project subdomain affects the hosted Statuscode URL, not the customer-owned branded domain record.
What project settings affect customers
Brand name, logo, visible monitors, maintenance, and theme settings affect the published page after publish.
Billing changes affect access and plan UI, not the public incident content itself.
Deleting a project removes the status page and any project-level configuration attached to it.
Safe assumption
Dashboard card
Shows the best current public host label for that project.
Editor preview
Shows where the status page is expected to live after publish.
Publish
Still controls when those public-facing changes become live.
